12 Days of Dance Idols – Day 11: Eleven Creative Collaborations
It’s Day 11 of our annual “12 Days of Dance Idols” series where we’ll spotlight performances from our 2023 dance camps. ADTC Dance Idol is a fun competition that takes place Thursday night at every ADTC location… it is THE highlight of the week (other than the Friday Night Show) for ADTC campers and staff. You’ll get to choreograph & perform your own solo, duet or group dance (if someone else choreographed your dance, you must give them credit!), and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners are invited to perform their piece in our Friday show.
On the eleventh day of dance idols, our campers gave to us, eleven creative collaborations
Eleven creative collaborations performed at our 2023 dance idol competitions. The campers choreographed these contemporary duets themselves at camp! The “Let You Go,” “Rose Colored Lenses” & “The Climb” duets were performed at our VT dance camp; the “Ribs” & “Cry” duets were performed at our MD dance camp; the “The Lakes” duet was performed at our CO dance camp; the “Daylight” duet was performed at our IL dance camp; the “In the Stars” duet was performed at our WI dance camp; the “Sail” duet was performed at our CA dance camp; the “Picture Perfect” duet was performed at our NC dance camp; and the “Má sestra” duet was performed at our TX dance camp.
