ADTC 2026 Parent Portal
Welcome Home!

Thank you for choosing ADTC! We’re so excited your daughter will be joining us for our 24th summer of the ultimate overnight dance camp. The countdown to camp is on!
This page is your go-to resource for everything you need to prepare for camp. Here you’ll find important reminders, check-in details, packing info, and answers to common questions as your session approaches.
We’ll send a detailed welcome email for your specific ADTC location about one week before your session, with everything you’ll need to know for arrival. If you have any questions in the meantime, we’re always here to help!

Pre-Camp Checklist
Here’s everything to check off before camp:
- Pay Your Tuition Balance: Email Lindsey ([email protected]) if you haven’t received your online invoice.
- Complete Your Camper Health Profile (due no later than 3 weeks before camp): The CampDoc invitation is sent to the primary parent email used during registration around April 15th. If you don’t receive it, please check that inbox (and junk folder), or reach out and we’ll resend it. This form is where you’ll provide emergency contacts, health information, roommate requests, etc. (note: if two campers are requesting each other, we always honor mutual requests!).
- Get Packing: Review the ADTC Packing List.
- Review the Parent-Camper Handbook (optional): For a more in-depth overview of camp policies and philosophy, you can download it here.
- 14 Days Before Check-in: Begin checking on the health of your camper. The risk for contagious illnesses (including lice, strep throat, flu, etc.) is always a consideration for camps where children & staff live together in close proximity. We rely on parents to ensure campers arrive healthy – the best camp sessions start with healthy campers. Here are 12 things to do before check-in to help your daughter have a healthy camp experience!
- By Friday Before Check-In: Purchase a Good Luck Ad in our show program, if desired.
🏨 Vermont Families – We’ve secured group lodging rates at Stratton Mountain Resort!
→ Book Online Here (Promo Code: ADTC26) – select dates, then click “Change” in red to view all the lodging options – see screenshot.
Check-In: Sunday, 2 – 4pm
Check in at all ADTC locations takes place from 2-4pm on Sunday. One parent per-camper will be allowed in the dorms to help move in / unpack.

Check-In Stations
Front Desk – Pick up welcome bag, name tag & key card
Health Screening – Turn in medications (in original Pharmacy labeled bottles – see directions here).
Activities – Choose dance electives & field trips
Canteen – Open account
Phone Call Sign Up – Schedule Wednesday call home & turn in electronics (if applicable)

Activities & Electives
Parents will help campers choose field trips, optional activities & dance electives during check-in. Any additional fees (if you didn’t purchase an Activities Account Deposit) & required waivers will be handled at that time.
If your daughter is not attending a field trip, she’ll choose an on-campus dance workshop and arts & crafts activity. Campers also select a core dance elective at check-in (ballet, tap, or world dance – subject to availability).
* Note: We do not confirm field trips before check-in. Last-min changes are common & subject to weather/availability.
* Also note: If your child is traveling alone or with a friend, waivers can be signed the week before camp – just email us.

Canteen Account
The ADTC Canteen carries snacks, beverages, personal items, dance apparel, supplies, t-shirts and souvenirs. Campers can make purchases using their Canteen balance and will not be allowed to spend more than the amount you authorize.
Canteen deposits must be paid in-full at check-in.
Because each camper has different needs, we recommend at least $50 per-week for incidentals. Please budget more if your daughter plans to buy ADTC apparel or souvenirs (as a reference, sweatshirts typically run $60-$70).
If your camper has a credit – such as a friend referral credit – please confirm this with your Director at check-in.
Canteen accounts must be settled at check-out. We’ll refund any unspent balance or collect for any approved purchases over her limit at this time.
During Camp
Every ADTC camp week is a living, breathing experience. Schedules, weather, activities, and electives can change up to the last minute.

Theme Days
We love spirit at ADTC and have fun theme days so each week feels exciting and unique. Participation is always optional, and no advance planning is required – part of the fun is being creative and spontaneous with new friends at camp.
To avoid giving families outdated or incorrect info, we finalize and send each location’s detailed theme days one week before check-in.
Why? Our Program Directors choose the theme for each session (which is part of the ADTC magic ✨), and many of them lead multiple locations. For any particular theme, your dancer generally just needs:
- 1-2 fun outfits
- anything colorful or silly they want to bring
- ZERO new purchases*
* Parents, we really mean it! Creativity > costumes. Girls mix & match or borrow from new friends at camp.

Keeping In Touch
Call Home – You’ll schedule your camper’s Midweek Call Home (typically Wednesday, occasionally Thursday depending on the location’s schedule) at check-in.
Email – You can write to your daughter during her session using your Program Director’s email (which we’ll communicate to you one week before camp) – in the subject, please write, “Email For (Camper’s Name) – Please Print/Distribute.”
Your daughter can also write back handwritten notes – we’ll take a picture and email them to you.
Text – Text us anytime at 415-532-2382. Our 866 number can receive texts, but we can only text back from the 415 number.
Mail & Care Packages – Instead of snail mail, we recommend you pre-write handwritten letters & put together care packages before camp – then sneakily give them to the Program Director at check-in (include days to distribute). For camp care packages, we recommend searching on amazon or vibealley.com (use code ADTC10 for 10% OFF).
📞 Phone Communication
We know staying connected matters – here’s how communication works at ADTC:
To help campers fully settle into the camp experience, we keep phone contact limited and structured during the week.
- Campers will call home on Wednesday or Thursday at a time scheduled during check-in
- Our team will always reach out if there’s ever a concern about your child’s health or wellbeing
If you need to reach us:
- Non-urgent questions → Email your Program Director or text us at 415-532-ADTC (2382)
- Urgent matters → Call 866-383-ADTC (2382) and enter your location’s extension (no prompt – enter it right away):
- Vermont: ext 1
- California: ext 2
- Illinois: ext 3
- Maryland: ext 4
- N. Carolina: ext 5
- Colorado: ext 6
- Wisconsin: ext 7
- Texas / N. Jersey: ext 8
We’ll return your call as quickly as possible and make sure you’re connected to your daughter if needed.

Camp Photos
We’ll be posting photos of the dance camp magic throughout the week!
Session Albums – You can access ALL session photos & videos on our ADTC SmugMug Site. We will include the password for your camper’s session in your welcome email one week before check-in.
Facebook & Instagram – Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook & Instagram for even more camp photos & videos!
Friday Night Show: Friday, 7pm

Families Welcome!
We hope you’ll be able to attend our Friday Night Show – the highlight of the week at ADTC! The show is included as part of your camper’s experience, and families are invited to join us.
In just five days, campers learn and perform multiple dance pieces across a variety of styles. The show typically starts at 7pm and lasts about 1 hour (we’ll confirm show time at check-in).
If you’re unable to attend, no worries – we’ll share photos and videos after camp.
Watch past ADTC shows on our YouTube Channel to get even more excited for camp!
Check Out: Saturday, 9 – 11am
Check out at all ADTC locations takes place Saturday morning from 9-11am.
We also offer an optional early check-out immediately following the Friday Night Show. However, most campers choose to stay for their final night with friends.
