Gianna Torres is a recent graduate of Towson University in Maryland with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. While at Towson, Gianna was a teacher and choreographer for the Fusion Dance Team.
Gianna grew up dancing competitively at New Jersey Dance Academy, and at 17 she began assisting dance classes. Gianna loves working with children as much as she loves dancing.
Gianna started as a Junior Instructor Counselor (“JIC”) at ADTC in Vermont four years ago. In 2022, she stepped up as an Instructor-Counselor (“IC”). Gianna wants to teach campers that “regardless of level, they are all so special.” She wants girls to feel empowered and supported when they are with her and hopes they take this feeling and use it to make other campers feel the same way “so that our camp environment is inclusive and filled with good energy.”
