12 Days of Dance Idols – Day 12: Twelve Contemporary Reflections
It’s Day 12 of our annual “12 Days of Dance Idols” series where we’ll spotlight performances by our 2019 dance idols at our dance camps nationwide. ADTC Dance Idol is a fun competition that takes place Thursday night at every ADTC location… it is THE highlight of the week (other than the Friday Night Show) for ADTC campers and staff. You’ll get to choreograph & perform your own solo, duet or group dance (if someone else choreographed your dance, you must give them credit!), and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners are invited to perform their piece in our Friday show.
The “Hands Dirty” and “Remember” solos were performed at our VT dance camp. “Xanny”, “No Hesitation” and “Thunderclouds” were performed at our CA dance camp. “Heart of Stone” & “To June This Morning” were performed at our WI dance camp, while “Someone Like You” and “Night Trouble” were performed at our NC dance camp. The “No Roots” and “You Should See Me in a Crown” solos were performed at our TX dance camp, and the solo to “Soldier” was performed at our CO dance camp.
