12 Days of Dance Idols – Day 11: Eleven Perfect Pieces
It’s Day 11 of our annual “12 Days of Dance Idols” series where we’ll spotlight performances by our 2019 dance idols at our dance camps nationwide. ADTC Dance Idol is a fun competition that takes place Thursday night at every ADTC location… it is THE highlight of the week (other than the Friday Night Show) for ADTC campers and staff. You’ll get to choreograph & perform your own solo, duet or group dance (if someone else choreographed your dance, you must give them credit!), and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners are invited to perform their piece in our Friday show.
The “Hip Hop Mix” and “Look What You Made Me Do” dances were performed at our Wisconsin dance camp in 2019. The “Stay” solo was performed at our WI dance camp in 2017. The “Bad Guy” & “Without Me” dances were performed at our Texas dance camp in 2019. The Irish song dance was performed at our Vermont dance camp in 2019, and the “Jar of Hearts” solo was performed at our VT dance camp in 2011. The “Glitter in the Air” and “Michael Jackson duet” were performed at our North Carolina dance camp in 2010. The Swish Swish hip hop dance was performed at our Illinois dance camp in 2017, and the “Tap Acapella” dance was performed at our California dance camp in 2015.
