Join us for a FREE Dance Intensive Sat, Apr 13, 2024 (2-5pm EST)! We’re SO excited for our April Intensive theme: Earth Elements! We’ll be celebrating our amazing planet in this month of Earth Day & Spring by dancing to songs about earth, water, fire, air, wind, etc.!

We’re inviting all girls ages 8 – 17 to join us on zoom for this “triple-threat” intensive ~ dancers will learn combinations in 3 dance styles (contemporary, hip hop & jazz) with 3 different ADTC choreographers. Every dance class includes fresh choreography & technique. Dancers are divided into groups by age/ability and practice videos are emailed after class so you can keep dancing at home.

This intensive also kicks off our #adtcearthelements April “Free To Dance” Challenge where girls can win a FREE week of dance camp! BONUS: Just by participating, you’ll automatically be entered into our April drawing to win a FREE week of dance camp!

ADTC VIRTUAL DANCE CLASS RELEASE

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in dance camp activities, I hereby release American School of Dance, LLC (dba: American Dance Training Camps - “ADTC”), its officers, employees, contractors and agents from any and all liability, demands, controversies, damages, actions and causes of action which may occur by reason of injury, loss of services, property damage and any and all other loss and damages of any kind and nature sustained by the virtual camper. This release shall bind you, the camper, their guardians, heirs, administrators and assigns. I understand that activities with ADTC may entail vigorous physical movement and exertion. Although it is the goal of ADTC and its employees, contractors and agents to adhere to relevant American Camp Association Standards, property damage, physical injuries and accidents may occur during camp activities. Such potential injuries include but are not limited to strains, sprains, cuts, abrasions, and broken limbs. I further understand that in addition to the above-mentioned risks, there may be other unforeseeable risks and dangers involved in said activities. In the event of a dispute, a cause of action may only be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.
DANCE: Participation in dance activities involves motion in a unique environment and as such carries with it a reasonable assumption of risk. WARNING: Even under the best of conditions, injury, paralysis and even death can result from improper conduct of the dance activity. This is to certify that I, the undersigned, have carefully read and understand the above warning statements, and any/all information contained in the ADTC brochure and/or website regarding the program in which the camper will be participating. I, the undersigned, further certify that I adequately appreciate the inherent risks of dance camp participation, and that said participation is strictly voluntary.
HEALTH: My child is in good health and has permission to engage in all camp activities. I agree to discuss with ADTC staff in advance of the camp any physical or mental condition or other special need that may limit or prevent meaningful and safe participation in camp activities or may otherwise require a reasonable accommodation or modification. ADTC staff will attempt to accommodate campers with such conditions or special needs where practicable on a case-by-case basis. I understand that I will be contacted as soon as possible in the event that my child is injured or becomes ill during dance camp activities. I agree that any expenses for medical treatment received by my child as a result of any injury or illness during dance camp activities is my sole responsibility.
MEDIA RELEASE (ZOOM PARTICIPANTS): I give permission and consent for my child to participate in all activities and to allow photographs, videos and interviews to be taken during the camp session. I hereby authorize and grant to ADTC the right to: (i) record my child (including, without limitation, my child’s appearance, image and voice) by still photography and videotape photography, audio tape and all other means of recording technology (the results of which shall be deemed the “Recordings”); (ii) edit the Recordings (in ADTC’s sole discretion); (iii) use the Recordings along with my child’s photographs, likeness and voice; in and in connection with the camp, and all ancillary and subsidiary uses thereof and all advertising, publicity, or any legitimate purpose. In compliance with COPPA (Child Online Privacy Protection Act) my signature confirms that I hereby represent and warrant that I have the right to grant the rights granted hereunder and that I understand and agree that my child's picture and video (without full name) may be used on publicly accessible areas of the ADTC website. I expressly release the Released Parties from and against any and all claims which I have or may have for invasion of privacy, defamation or any other cause of action arising out of the production, distribution, broadcast or exploitation of the Recordings. I acknowledge and agree that in no event shall I seek or be entitled to obtain injunctive or other equitable relief against the Released Parties or the Recordings.
