Tro Shaw
Bio
Tro Shaw made her Broadway debut in the 2009 production of WEST SIDE STORY directed by Arthur Laurents at the Palace Theater, NY. She originated the role of Jets tomboy, Anybodys.
While in New York, Ms. Shaw workshopped a new play by Princess Grace Recipient, James McManus titled BLOOD POTATO, she starred in the 2010 NY Fringe Festival Show, TOGETHER THIS TIME, and taught numerous audition workshops to young adults.
In the winter of 2010/11 Ms. Shaw relocated to sunny California, and has since found her home in the heart of Hollywood. While Ms. Shaw is pursuing a career in TV/Film, (you can view her reel on the “Actress” page) she has also found work in the thriving theater community of the greater Los Angeles area.
In the spring of 2013 Ms. Shaw played the tumbling tomboy, Sarah, in La Mirada’s wonderfully athletic production of SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS directed by Glenn Casale and choreographed by Patti Columbo.
In the fall of 2013 Ms. Shaw understudied the role of Avery in the Geffen Playhouse production, RAPTURE, BLISTER, BURN directed by Peter DuBois.
Ms. Shaw recently closed HENRY IV, PART 1, with the Antaeus Company in which she played the vicious thief, Gadshill, and the angelic Lady Mortimer who speaks and sings in Welsh.
Ms. Shaw can also be seen regularly performing as Sal in The RED CAR TROLLEY NEWS BOYS show in Disney’s California Adventure park, a childhood dream job.
