Who is your idol? My dad is my idol because he has always been there for me and he’s always happy. He has such a kind and warming heart. He is so supportive in everything I do and I am so grateful for my dad.

Why do you love to dance? Dance makes me feel alive and dance is somewhere I can escape anything I have going on. It makes me feel free and content. I have learned over the year that dance isn’t about the steps and getting all the movements right. It’s more about how you feel while you are dancing. It doesn’t have to always be perfect and everyone is perfect in their own way. I love to dance with my whole heart.

What is your proudest accomplishment & why? My proudest accomplishment is being accepted into my dance company AIM. It is a very intense performance company and two years ago I had been accepted into the company. It was my third-time auditioning and I felt ready, excited, and scared. When I found out I got in it was the best feeling in the world my heart was filled and I was so proud of myself. By the way, I found out at ADTC.

What goals are you working on right now (in both dance & life)? I am going into my junior year of high school which will be very hard academically so I have made goals to work very hard and keep my grades up. As for dance make my dance company again and to try to push myself to explore different ways to move my body.

Tell us about a difficult situation in your life and how you got through it. What did you learn? I don’t have a specific one but sometimes I have to choose between dance and my friends and it can be pretty difficult but I have learned that I don’t want to waste the time I have being young and free and doing the thing I love. I sometimes regret doing dance because it take up so much of my time but I love it so much and it makes me so happy and I know I will always will have it in my life.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done? I don’t have a specific one but sometimes I don’t stand up for myself and say what I want to say and I feel this year I have learned to say I am what I am feeling. I have learned that this can go both ways but either way I know I did what I wanted to do and I feel good about it.

If you’ve been to ADTC, what is your favorite dance camp memory & why? I don’t have one but honestly just meeting everyone and dance idol.

What is your A.D.T.C. Superpower? Adventurer

What do you want other girls to learn from reading your #ADTCidol bio & story? That I am open to new things and I love to dance!!!!
