Who is your idol? My idol is my dance friend Genevieve. I look up to her because she is older and has always been nice to me. She is an amazing dancer and is always kind and makes me feel good about my dancing.
Why do you love to dance? Because I don’t have to think about anything else when I am dancing.
What is your proudest accomplishment & why? Winning the top award in the state for my artwork – I worked hard on it and was proud that it did so well.
What goals are you working on right now (in both dance & life)? I am working to get more flexible. In life, I am working on my art skills.
Tell us about a difficult situation in your life and how you got through it. What did you learn? Last year I lost my best friend – we used to dance together and she and her sisters left our studio. She was really mean to me when she left and we ended the friendship. It was really hard, but my remaining teammates at the studio were very supportive and I learned how to move on and be positive.
What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done? I rode on a scary waterslide – I learned that I do not like scary waterslides. Seriously, I am not into doing daring things!
If you’ve been to ADTC, what is your favorite dance camp memory & why? I loved the Alpine Slide in Vermont!
What is your A.D.T.C. Superpower? Team Player – I love working with other people.
