What is your True Color Personality Style? I agree with my color, blue. At school I do try to please my teachers. I also seek acceptance and always try to make peace. With my friends I do like to listen to them and I feel like I am caring.

Who is your idol? My idol is my dance instructor. She has taught me many many things over the 10 years I have dancing there. She has also given me so much great advice and taught me to be a better person. I look up to her so much because I just hope that I can be as great of a teacher and have as much creativity as she does.

Why do you love to dance? I love to dance because I feel free. I love to just dance to let go off all of my worries and anxiety and everything bad. I love to just open up and dancing gives me a way t just be me.

What is your proudest accomplishment & why? My proudest accomplishment is probably getting into our show choir in school. I am proud of this because I worked up a lot of courage to audition and I am so happy that I fit in with the group because I love to sing and dance.

What goals are you working on right now (in both dance & life)? In life I am working on self motivation to stretch and make sure I am still dancing even through quarantine and COVID-19. In dance I am working to getting my pointe shoes and working on becoming a teacher.

Tell us about a difficult situation in your life and how you got through it. What did you learn? Last summer I wasn’t moved up in dance to the class that I thought I would, which is the highest level of ballet. This just made me work harder and improve my ballet skills and keeping improving my technique so I could made get moved up to that level soon.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done? I auditioned to be in our local theater production of Annie. I went with a good friend of mine, Sydney, and we both auditioned. I had to work up a lot of courage to even go to the audition. I did not make it into the production but it taught me that I can do anything that I set my mind to, even if I want to audition for big productions like that.
