Dances were originally performed at Friday Night Shows at our dance camp in Lake Forest, IL. Our Chicago Lake Shore dance classes are held in LFA’s dance studio, gymnasium & theatre. Core dance disciplines are hip hop, jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include Broadway, lyrical or modern) and contemporary. Elective dance classes offered during a session will include ballet, tap and world dance (examples may be Latin, Afro, capoeira, Bollwood, etc.). The dance curriculum is designed to challenge dancers of all backgrounds and levels – from beginners through experienced performers…and everyone in between.
