The Winter Park Mountain Lodge is the perfect home base for American Dance Training Camp in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The lodge is located directly across from the Winter Park Ski Resort and features a blend of spacious double and triple hotel rooms (sleeps two or three campers each).
Winter Park Mountain Lodge offers everything you need to help you
unwind in between dancing and summer adventures. An indoor swimming pool, two ten-person hot tubs, sauna and in-room movies are all available for your camper's enjoyment. Laundry facilities are located in each building, and ADTC offers a dance canteen for basic daily supplies.
The towns of Winter Park and Fraser, located in Grand County, Colorado, are situated in a high mountain park at elevations of over 8,000 ft. The valley is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and three Wilderness areas: Indian Peaks, Byers Peak and Vasquez. The Fraser Valley is only 90 minutes northwest of Denver, 90 minutes from Summit County and two hours from Vail Valley.
Core Colorado classes in hip hop dance, jazz dance and musical theatre dance are held in the conference rooms as well as outside with a beautiful mountain back-drop. We set up wall-sized portable mirrors in each dance room, and there is ample space to accommodate up to 20 dancers per class (though American Dance Training Camp dance classes are usually much smaller).
Families who don't want to be too far from their dancers are encouraged to stay at Winter Park while their daughter attends dance camp.
